Buy our Book: Roots of HOPE

“Roots of HOPE” is a tribute to the over 38 passionate Rotaractors, Rotarians, volunteers, and their families who pioneered the Miyawaki Method of planting at Terra Nova, Richmond. This project embodies our shared commitment to nurturing nature, restoring biodiversity, and protecting the more than 300 species of migratory birds that grace Terra Nova each year. By planting more trees, we create homes for our feathered friends and safeguard the delicate balance of our ecosystem.
This book was also created to raise awareness and support for building a commemorative bench in front of the Miyawaki grove—a place for reflection, appreciation, and connection with nature. Our vision is for future Rotaract members to continue this legacy of preservation and renewal for generations to come.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our sponsors, donors, volunteers, and families for helping bring this project to life. May this book inspire you to visit Terra Nova, rest on our bench, and witness the beauty of the birds that call it home. Within these pages, discover the many species that visit throughout the year—and let their flight remind you that hope, like nature, always finds a way to grow.
